Foundations in Voice Therapy is a training course

Foundations in Voice Therapy is a training course for speech therapists and is a comprehensive deep dive into voice therapy and working with people with dysphonia.

We have a couple of places still available this Autumn.
Monday 23rd - Wednesday 25th September 2024.
The Thames Lido, Reading

This course is run by voice specialist speech therapists @voicefituk and @lydiahartholistic . We have made this course educational, practical, supportive and inclusive. We want all delegates to feel valued and safe and able to be their authentic selves while learning and practising techniques and networking with other voice therapy colleagues.

The Foundations in Voice Therapy course takes a fresh approach to voice work. It puts focus on the therapeutic relationship, being solution focused and putting the patient at the heart of their own treatment and on holistic voice treatments. We will take a dive into the nervous system and the impact on voice and on the effect of chronic health conditions and how we can work best to support voice patients with complex health issues.
